A New Mother: Shiny Vaporeon TF
It was a fine autumn day, and Olivia Herald was walking through the forest on her way home from school. Life was good for her: she'd finished her tests, had turned in an English paper, and had been on timeto all her classes for once. And it seemed that nature agreed with her. The sun was shining, Sentrets and Furrets played in the sunlight, and Hoppips were flying through the air in bliss.

"What an utterly perfect day!" she said, glancing around her at the wonderous spectacle of nature. "On a day like this, how could anything possibly go wrong?"

~~~
While on any other day her statement would have been correct, today it was in error. What Olivia didn't know was that several yards away from her current position was a den, in which three orphaned Eevee kits lived. The first, and oldest kit had fur that was a stormy gray color, and this earned him the name of Stormfur. The second and third kits were twins named Earthpaw and Browneyes. When Stormfur was five and Earthpaw and Browneyes were three they were orphaned when their mother, a Sylveon, died of hypothermia and their father, an Umbreon, was captured by a human wearing a red coat. All that their parents had left them was a mysterious stone said to be able to change reality itself. For three years, they'd fended off predators, hunters, and trainers in a struggle to survive. But they were starting to tire, and Stormfur knew that  Earthpaw and Browneyes wouldn't survive another winter without a mother Eeveelution to take care of them.
So it was that on this day, Stormfur went to a private corner of the den while his siblings played outside and begged Arceus for help.
"Oh Arceus in your realm above, what should I do? Winter is coming and Rustpaw and Browneyes will die without a mother Eeveelution to take care of them. What should I do?"
He paused for a bit, before removing the mysterious stone from the space in which he kept it for safe-keeping.
"My parents gave me this stone in case anything happened to them. I know it has the power to change reality, but should I use it? What should I do?"
It was then that he looked out of the back opening of the den, and noticed something coming down the path towards his siblings: a human girl. She was wearing a purple covering on her upper body, and a blue covering on her lower body, with a red thing around her neck. Normally, Stormfur would have warned his siblings that a trainer was coming and hurried them into the den. This time, however, he stared at her for a minute.
Is this it? he thought. Is this Arceus's answer to my prayers for help?
Stormfur knew that whatever he decided would either save his siblings or condemn them to death by hypothermia.
The human saw his siblings and stopped suddenly. Then it let out a squee of delight and ran towards them. With that, he made his decision and ran towards the human and his siblings, praying that his plan would work.
~~~
As Olivia rounded the bend, she suddenly noticed something she'd never seen before: an old den, looking positively heart-warming in the light of the setting sun. In its shade were two adorable looking Eevee kits playing a sort of game together.

Olivia was unable to help herself and let out a squee of delight. This caught the kits' attention, and they looked at the newcomer with curiosity. And as Olivia watched them, a third Eevee kit burst out of the den. It was bigger than the others, and it was a shiny.

The three kits ran towards Olivia, and soon sat in a huddle around her feet.

"Hello there cuties," she said, kneeling down to get a better look at them. Olivia reached out towards the silver Eevee, half expecting it to bite her hand. To her surprise, the Eevee did not resist, but snuggled up to her hands as she lifted it up.

"Eevee! Vee!" was all that came from the other two adorable little Eevee kits.

"Cut it out, you three!" Olivia said with a laugh as she held the silver Eevee in her hands.

It was then that the silver Eevee said something Olivia never expected to hear coming from any Pokemon, Eevee or otherwise.

<Mamma!>

Olivia looked in shock at the Eevee.

"Wait, Mamma?"

<Yeah!> the silver Eevee said with a smile on its face, as Olivia suddenly felt a tingly feeling like pins and needles cover her head and face.

"Wha-What?", she said in fear as she felt that her face had pulled out into a furry muzzle and her ears had become large fin-like things. And the tingly feeling was only beginning to spread down her face into the rest of her body.

Olivia noticed her hand's five digits merge into three as it became a new paw. Her other hand followed suit shortly thereafter, and she grew a fin-like collar around her neck

"NO!"

Her body slimmed down as she lost every bit of excess weight that would hinder a Vaporeon from swimming at high speeds in water. Her spine lengthened and became an utterly beautiful mermaid's tail as the tingly feeling went down her body at an even faster speed. Her feet became paws and fell out of her shoes as she began to shrink down to the size of an adult Vaporeon. Her spine cracked as she became a quadrupedal being. All she could do was cry as her body was a victim of the whims of the magic changing her.

Finally, she stopped shrinking. Olivia looked at her new body, and at the three Eevee kits looking at her in expectation. She wanted to yell at them or do something to get back at them for doing this to her. Olivia took tow steps towards the silver Eevee when her mind suddenly went cloudy and her memories became hazy.

What am I doing? Who am I? Who are these Eevee kits?

Her old memories struggled to remain as the twins walked up to her, concern on their faces.

<Momma Olivia? Are you OK?>

Momma? After all these years I've been with them Stormfur never told them the truth? He's a good boy. His father would be proud of him.

This comment proved to be the tipping point, as Olivia's original memories dissipated into nothingness, replaced by her new memories. She remembered their father begging her to take care of them and not tell the twins about what happened to him, and she had kept that promise. For three years she'd aided the family as they struggled to survive. Now that the upcoming winter was coming, she decided to move in with them full time. Stormfur had protested, but once she told him what the chances of survival were if they lived on their own any longer were, he'd accepted her arrival.

Olivia moved out of memory lane as Earthpaw and Browneyes continued to ask her if she was OK.

<I'm fine dears. Let's go home.>
